  • Ross Liberati Philly Soccer Camps

    Ross Liberati - Director

    Ross Liberati is the founder of Philly Soccer Camps and the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Widener University. He was named Widener’s head coach in July 2019 and brings college coaching experience from the NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III levels.

    Liberati has been recognized nationally by United Soccer Coaches as a Top 30 Under 30 selection. He holds USSF D, E, and F licenses, along with the National Diploma, Advanced National Diploma, and Premier Diploma. As a player, he was a two-time All-Region honoree at Bucknell University and helped lead the Bison to Patriot League Championships in 2009 and 2010.

    Through Philly Soccer Camps, Liberati focuses on creating a positive, competitive, and well-organized camp environment for youth players, high school players, and college-bound athletes in the Philadelphia area. He currently resides in Delaware County, PA, with his wife and their three children.

  • Andy Ricci Philly Soccer Camps

    Andy Ricci

    Andrew Ricci joined the Philly Soccer Camps staff in 2025, bringing experience in college coaching, performance analysis, player development, tactical training, and opponent scouting. He also serves on the Widener University men’s soccer staff and previously spent four years as an assistant coach at Immaculata University.

    Ricci also works with Penn Fusion Soccer Academy since 2021, working with U16 and U19 teams and leading specialized training programs.

    Ricci played four years at Alfred University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Ceramics Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. His background in coaching, data analysis, and player development gives campers a detailed, thoughtful, and player-centered training experience.

    August Axtman

    August Axtman is an former assistant coach at Widener and graduate of King’s College. He captained the Monarchs during his junior and senior season. In his four years, he was recognized for numerous awards, including being a three-time All-Mid-Atlantic Regional defender, All-MAC Freedom First Team defender, and All-MAC All-Academic player. In his senior season, he was also recognized as an Academic All-American defender and the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the year.

    He has completed his U.S. National E & F Soccer Coaching licenses. Axtman most recently graduated with his Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Widener in 2021.
